Still not sure if it’s wise to write the next batch but I need it off my chest and then we’ll see where I’ll end up.

Last year I had to close down my 15 year old one person company because of the bloodsuckers also known as ‘accountants’ who did my taxes. Every year they had less work to do and charged more, up to a point I had to get rid of them or declare for bankruptcy.
That hurt. It still hurts but I got largely over it and stepped up, worked a lot on the website getting bugs out etc. etc. and just kept my head up high.

Then 3 weeks ago I got an email from Verotel saying that VISA charges them for € 500.- Euro/ year to handle the charges for my members website. Since my website doesn’t make sufficient money a month they assumed I could not pay the € 500.- Euro, so they had to close down my Verotel account.

Per direct.

I was first like this.
Then like this.
And then like this.
She has a great head btw, just too bad it’s empty (lol).

Anyway, after 15 minutes of shaky hands I mailed them back that I would cough up the 500 and if they’d please get me back into their system which they promptly did.

Thing is I have now every year an extra € 500.- bill above my head and if I cannot get the monthly income from this website up I’m still without Verotel within 1 or maybe 2 years, so no CC processor and thus no way to keep a members site up. Since all CC processors are more or less the same as Verotel and so many people hate Paypal with a passion, not to mention Paypal has (afaik) no membership option without recurring, which *I* hate with a passion, you can say I’m pretty much with my back against the wall.

You may say get a job, but in these ‘interesting’ economical times having far from a great health, 2 nicely damaged kidney’s being amongst it doesn’t help at all getting a real job. Add to that, that I’m fast nearing the age of 50 and having crash landed in 2005 in a wheel chair, you have to be realistic. (Not that I haven’t tried in far better financial times).

So, now what? I honestly don’t know. It took me 2 weeks to get back on track after the Verotel mail leaving me with zero.zero will or inspiration to continue. Hence no blogs or anything, except for a few tweets. Sorry about that.

Then again I cannot stop doing what I do best, (albeit a bit slow), I just *have* to get those latex dressed babes in my head out on the digital canvas, and finish the stories that dwell there. So I said “f*k it, what’s in the future is in the future, no way of telling what will happen then”, thus I climbed back into the saddle.

And here comes my plea. If you like my work and like to see it continue could you please, big pretty please with sugar on top, not post my images on the various pirate/share sites?
It’s a pain in the rear to get my work down if even possible at all. If my latest work keeps appearing for free, there comes a time I’m forced to quit because running a website is no longer financially feesable for me.

It’s not 5 for 12 (I think) but it’s getting damn close.

Ps: I might disable Paypal to sign up for 4F to drive more money through Verotel, yet I’m not sure if that’s smart. It may drive more money through Verotel or on the other hand cut off people with no Credit card…
