This small walkthrough where you can see, (if you don’t use an ancient browser) how I turn a model from wearing shiny white lingerie into shiny white latex lingerie while replacing her studio background for a forest, uses HTML5.
If you still do use IE 6 upgrade to a different browser or install Google Chrome Frame to experience HTML5 created content.
Ps: I’m not going the full HTML5 route yet. Reason is that there are way too many browsers that do not support it or only parts of it. Like the above images should crossfade if you click on the ‘next’ or ‘previous’ buttons. Except for Firefox 3.5-4.0, IE 6-9, Opera. Heck, even FF 10 on the Mac doesn’t support the crossfade I use and I don’t like how images not in your cache have this ‘wiggle’ pop-up while loading in Safari.
Looks like Flash is here to stay for quite a while. :s
